A Simple 5 Stage Process

Step 1

Cut the threaded end at an angle of about 45° so that there is a suitable opening for application.

Step 2

Place the cartridge in a high quality silicone tool (the timbabuild tool is strongly recommended).

Step 3

Sand the surface to remove debris, and aid adhesion of the product to the joint.

Step 4

Use masking tape if necessary, apply a bead to the joint in a uniform fashion.

Step 5

Smooth off using an appropriate tool or a moist finger - may be painted or primed after just 1 hour.
